Instructions could have been a little more clear, but we were able to get it up with just 2 scrawny adults. It took about 3 days to put it up. Very well made, and endless fun! We’ve had several neighbors stop and ask where we got it. Everyone hates their wooden ones, which is exactly why we had to have this beast! Also, unless you’re absolutely certain your yard is flatter than a flitter, you will probably have to dig down or build up your yard. But that’s a possibility for any set this big. We had to dig down the tower and raise the monkey bars with steppingstones. As soon as it’s level though it is incredibly stout! It doesn’t move at all, even with the adults swinging on it!

My girls (3 and 6) love this playset! My 3 year old feels like Rapunzel in the tower and 6 year old gymnast loves the monkey bars and trapeze bar. The monkey bars are the reason we bought this set.It took 13 hours total to build and took a lot of adjusting to line up the tower with the swing part to align the holes and bolts. Yard needs to be totally level. That being said after 2 rainy days I noticed lots of cracks and rusting already 🙁 see photos.

Bought this from a warehouse club and recently set it up with my wife. We live in Arizona and it was incredibly hot so we spaced the install up over about 6 days and did a little each day when we had time.POSITIVES- Well thought out playset, kids love it- Each component seemed well made- Pieces for the most part fit together and didn’t have to drill more than 15 or so holes with the drill.- Somewhat flexible in that you can switch the ladder and the slide to give more flexibility. Our yard isn’t huge and wouldn’t work right if we set it up like you see in the image for the listing. Instead we swapped the ladder and slide and it fit perfect for our situation.NEGATIVES- Instruction manual was wrong in several places- Spare hardware was not enough, had to substitute screws we had extra of to use in other places- Extra hardware leftover that was not part of the spare bag.- The grey plastic walls on the upper level did not seat just right so screws are placed awkwardly. Cosmetic worry only.OVERALLWe really like the set and hope it stands the test of time with the brutal Arizona summer sun and the sprinklers. If it does well after a couple years I’ll come back and add on a star… for the time being the agony of the installation makes me dock it a star.I included a picture of the tower after we finished putting it together. This was before we put the swings and other items together

Kids love it! Instructions are bad.Simply put the kids love it and the construction is solid. The mechanics of assembly are actually pretty straight forward, which is good since the instructions are wrong and/or misleading in several spots.I considered dropping the score to a 4 out of 5 because of the instructions, but it really is well made and the kids enjoy it so much, I kept it at a 5.Some warning about construction:1. Watch out when you are putting on the handrails support arms on the top deck. They don’t make it clear which side the support arms (with the extra angled bracket attaching on the bottom) are supposed to be on. If you look very carefully you can notice the number of holes in the main structure support beam so that you can start on the correct side. Took me 30 minutes to swap all the support arms that were bolted to the floor and hand rail ring after I realized my mistake.2. On mine they changed the bolts used to hang the main tower side panels onto the tower. The blister pack letters matched but the bolts and nuts in the blister pack were not the same. There were still the right amount of bolts/nuts, just the wrong type and missing washers. I used the ones they included and it worked out fine (using the nut on the backside of the main support beams with out a washer and putting the washers I did have in the pack on the pane side). Those were the two major pain points in construction for me. Beyond that it went together fine with just myself and my kids helping me by fetching tools and lending supporting hands. Also fun building with the kids something they have a big interest in completing.

We got this for our kids, 11 and 5. They both think it is great. We assume the older will use it more for the monkey bars and pull-ups before long, but for now he can still stand in it and use all pieces.Assembly was over three days, working probably 2-3 hours on day 1, 6 hours on day 2, and an hour on day 3 (for two people). Both of us are good with building things. You could do it all in one day if you were dedicated and prepared. Most of assembly is the tower (it is 6 of the 9 steps). The rest is pretty quick comparatively. The app helps for when the printed directions lack (when you need to know color, or when the pictures do not show where a sticker is located, the app does). And both directions are specific about when to use a drill.Three notes about assembly:1. The Allen wrenches that come with the set strip by about half way through. You’ll need to keep them for the trick to get parts together, but also need your own for actually tightening.2. The quarter inch nuts are not quarter inch… they’re the slightest bit bigger. You’ll need a metric wrench to tighten the safety anchors at the end.3. An impact driver was pretty essential to the couple times you need to use self tapping metal screws into metal and plastic. It shows only a screwdriver on the instructions, but I think we would still be putting this thing together if we listened to that.Overall: the kids love it. When asked to name their fav parts, the five year old named every single piece. It’s big enough to feel big, strong enough to hold us, and already held up to a windstorm.

Kids love it. We have 5 kids ages 4-12, all were playing all day outside! Kind of a pain to put together but worth it. Instructions could be more clear but overall not bad. Took roughly 10 hours with 2 adults. Picture shows how it arrived, seen lots of people asking. Delivery contacted us to arrange for it to be delivered a day early, which was nice. No damage to product or packaging.

I looked at all types of swing sets and I did not want a wooden set. When reading all the reviews on this, they were all great and I am extremely happy I purchased this set. It was a little confusing at times to put together. Mostly when putting together the top of the deck. The instructions were a little confusing but nothing too bad. I was happy with the weight of the set and not having to set it in concrete. I tried swinging\monkey bars and had no issues (5’10 – 180). My 7 yr old and 3 yr old absolutely love it. If you are looking for a swing set, definitely consider this one.

Pretty great. Durable but it does shake a little when doing the end pull up swing bar. 2 people put it together in 8 hours .

This swing set is a great one! Lots of cool features for little kids and bigger kids. It took my husband and myself 3 evenings after work to put it together. I thought it would be harder than it was to put together. I will say there were a few times that the directions didn’t give you enough information on which way a part should face so you have to undo a few things you have already done to fix it.

This was packaged very well. There were 3 main boxes and then the big plastic parts. The instructions were in a pocket on the outside of one of the boxes. The hardware is all very organized and tidy. There are many packages of hardware with the same pieces in different packages. Make sure you don’t rip off the name of the parts when you open a certain part! If you take your time and follow the instructions without getting impatient it will be worth it. 🙂 we spent 5 or so hours on Saturday and again on Sunday and got just the tower done with 2-3 people. Don’t try to guess what the instructions are going to say. There’s a certain way to lay the floor of the upper level of the tower so the ladder and slide’s bolts can be screwed on later and we did that wrong and ended up making our own drill holes and have to buy some longer bolts. I also think we put some of the walls out of order which I hope we don’t regret. What if the lower exit runs right into a person swinging? One person sort of needs to manage each step because too many cooks in the kitchen made us start speeding along and got confusing. I was hoping to have it done in a day. I would give yourself 3 days of at least 5 hours each. Our 1 and 2 year old were having a ball just playing on the parts before it was even put together. The instructions do say that if the slide faces south it can get hot if it’s in sun.

The playset is sturdy and my kids (boy/girl twins (5) and son (7)) love it. 4 instead of 5-stars because it is different than pictured (slide/ladder switched), and directions are very poorly written- leftover hardware leaves me wondering if some pages were missing or if they just provide a lot of spare pieces. They are playing all over it as I type this. The swings adjust easily for height so I have one set higher for my 7 yo and the other set lower.I purchased this design so that the slide would face away from afternoon sun, but the product received has the slide and ladder switched I relation to the swings, so unfortunately we will have to deal with baking hot slide on summer afternoons; minor detail.Directions were a complete PITA- think of a book written in Spanish, then translated to Chinese, then translated to English from the Chinese translation and you get the idea.Overall- we are very pleased with a few exceptions.

Great playground! The kids love it!Some tips for assembly. Main one is to use/buy your own long-handled hex keys/Allen wrenches. They package two, but these strip easily and are poor quality. Using a socket wrench set will also save you precious time and energy. We have a larger yard. To save time on assembly and to stay out of poor weather, I assembled most everything near or in the garage and then moved the pieces once assembled. Without the roof on and other attachments (slide, ladder) the tower can be lowered to the ground and rolled. I realize this approach is unconventional, but it worked for me.The tower takes the most time to assemble. The other pieces felt like cake compared to it and took a relatively short time to assemble.Picture is before adding swings.

I spent most of the summer researching play sets. We live in the mid-Atlantic, so we needed something that could withstand severe heat/humidity as well as single-digit temps. We also have kids in all age ranges and needed something even the big kids could dink around on. To me, all of this (and the local termite issues) meant a wooden set was out of the question.I’m so glad I found this set! As other reviewers have said, assembly isn’t for the faint of heart just due to the sheer size and weight of the set and the instructions being a bit confusing in places (the slide and ladder are actually kind of a pick-your-own-configuration type of deal). However, all of the heavy-duty hardware was included with a few extras (which came in handy after a certain bolt ended up cross-threaded).We did leave the trapeze off for now, since I had ordered a climbing rope swing for that spot instead. As you can see from the pics, the three big dudes who assembled it (my husband, his friend, and my 6’2” 16yo) all did a “stress test” once assembly was finished (they played on it, lol), and it held up just fine.My 11yo and 5yo have been having a BLAST on it. It’s a timeless design, and I can see this set lasting through grandchildren. It’s the perfect central focus for the Lifetime products playground we’re planning for the side yard. Highly recommend this set if you have the room for it.

Wife and I banged out this install in about 8 hours. Directions were pretty good, but like other reviewers said, a couple of steps with the directions were spelled backward. No big deal. It’s easy to figure out that there’s errors. The actual playground itself is very stout and looks like it will hold up for a real long time. I can’t say how it’s going to hold up over 5-10 years, but as a mechanic and remodeler, I am pretty confident the entire set will last until our almost 1 year old twins go to middle school.I can’t wait to see my 4 year and 9 month old twins grow old into it.
